International links

Afghan parliamentarians are very interested in international legislation and procedures and keen to learn from Ministers of Parliament (MPs) from other countries. Afghan parliamentarians can gain expertise and confidence through these exchanges while foreign MPs can better understand the challenges Afghan women and female MPs face.

Also, links with embassies can facilitate visits from international parliamentarians or officials, possibly leading to collaborative work on issues of mutual interest. Video conferencing and internet tools can facilitate also facilitate this interaction.
