National Population Policy

UNIFEM advisors are currently working to increase women's participation in the formation of the National Policy Development Initiative's population policy. By including more women in its formation, a more effective agenda can be set which addresses the specific needs of women as a part of society.

The National Budget

UNIFEM and MOWA focus on the ongoing development of a national budget, ensuring that its structure will work towards mainstreaming the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS) gender strategy into all aspects of fund allocation.
